Who Are We?
We are a group of residents in the Silver Creek neighbourhood of Georgetown who are concerned about development happening in our neighbourhood and want to be a positive force for change.
The Silver Creek Neighbourhood Association was formed to establish a forum so residents in our community:
are informed about changes under consideration in our neighbourhood
understand our right to be heard
advocate in opposition to proposals inappropriate for our community
build our relationship with the Town
ensure the Association is an effective voice for residents in the Mill Street Corridor Precinct, Georgetown Go Station Area, historic Georgetown and Ward 3
Where is the Silver Creek Neighbourhood?
Where is the Silver Creek Neighbourhood?
The Silver Creek Neighbourhood is in Georgetown Ontario and has the boundaries of Guelph Street to the south, Maple Avenue / Mountainview to the east, Chapel Street to the west and the railway tracks to the north. This community is primarily an established residential area with many beautiful heritage homes, as well as the historic Georgetown railway station.
